It was inspiring to meet the men and women who are studying in the Booth Leadership Initiative, evangelist and missionary training program of the Presbyterian Church of East Africa (supported by The Outreach Foundation)!
The Outreach Foundation partners with the Presbyterian Church of East Africa, local authorities (including the Maasai chief), school leaders and an amazing matron named Beatrice to rescue young girls from FGM and early marriage, supporting them in school and reconciling them with their families.
Frank Dimmock, Stuart Ross and I had a very good visit today with our partners at Nyeri, parish pastor Rev. Nicholas M. Miriti and Tumaini Huruma Riamukurwe manager Eunice Njoki-Kago, leading the parish in a beautiful commitment to serve vulnerable children.
Privileged to share in trauma healing session with Rev Peter Yien and Rev Michael Yat and other South Sudanese Brothers and Sisters.
