PCEA Kwen-Siro Church Dedication in Kenya
Dear friends:
The dedication of PCEA Kwen-Siro Church on July 1 was the culmination of a week of mission celebration on the Kenyan coast. The celebration started on Tuesday when many went door to door in Sagalla evangelizing and inviting the town people to the church dedication on Saturday. Most of the Head Office including the Moderator, Secretary General and Deputy Secretary General attended.
The congregation had a very small church under construction which was never finished because of a dispute over the land. The church bought another plot of land last year and construction started on their new church in early 2023. We helped to quickly complete the church so the dedication could be done during mission week.
The church has 50 members but after all the visitations, the number will soon grow to 100+.
The Moderator of the General Assembly officiated the dedication.
