PCEA Emmaus-Mutarakwa Church Dedication in Kenya

Dear friends,

PCEA Emmaus-Mutarakwa Church is located near Nakuru in Central Province in St. Mary’s Parish. St. Mary’s Church is the mother church. In 2018, two plots of land measuring .75 acres were obtained — 1/2 acre came from the Ministry of Land and 1/4 acre was donated by a church member. Ground was broken for the church on October 6, 2019.

The congregation started with 13 members and 15 children. The church met in a member’s home until the temporary structure was built in July 2020.

The foundation stone of the new church was laid on February 25, 2022. The congregation had grown to 20 members and 25 children. The new church was dedicated on May 26.

The Moderator of the Presbytery conducted the dedication. Everyone worked hard to come to this day of dedication and celebrate God’s wonderful work.

As you can see from the photos, the church is beautiful. The last photo is their old church, which they had outgrown.

Blessings,
Stu Ross
