Rwanda Church Construction - September 2020 Update
In partnership with the Presbyterian Church of Rwanda (EPR), The Outreach Foundation has helped build several new sanctuaries in Rwanda and complete a few more with roofs, windows, and doors. We recently received the following report from Rev. Dr. Pascal Bataringaya, President of the EPR :
I hope you are keeping well. We continue to keep you and all sisters and brothers in the U.S.A. in our daily prayers.
The following information is about the church which is under construction and where church members are very committed but need our support and our prayers.
The Construction of Kiruhura Temple
The temple (church) under construction is in the mountain region of the Northern Province of Rwanda, in Gicumbi District, Mukarange Sector, Kiruhura Cell. The parish took the name of the cell “Kiruhura” to help identify its location.

Families: 182
Elders: 11
Deacons: 8
Choirs: 4
Church Construction Budget

Efforts of Parish Members
Members of the parish have made and cooked bricks and collected the materials to make the bricks such as wood. They started building the church but were stopped by limited funds.
Conclusion
Even though the COVID-19 pandemic persists, the church members continue to help support poor families affected by the crisis. The church members of Kiruhura Parish have made considerable efforts to build their temple. The photo above shows where they were forced to stop construction due to limited means.
The EPR is grateful for your partnership and any additional support given to them to complete the work they started.
Blessings,
Rev. Dr. Pascal Bataringaya
