Ethiopia #3: Gambella

On Saturday, June 3, I had the opportunity to visit with John Jock Gatwech, refugee camp coordinator for education and trauma healing for the Presbyterian Church of South Sudan, and his family. Since 2015, John, a trained teacher, has helped to direct the projects in 6 camps supported by The Outreach Foundation. His wife has recently completed her nursing training.
John regularly visits each of the 6 camps to encourage and monitor the preschool education, adult learning, and trauma healing programs. He travels great distances by bus or bicycle. It is a great pleasure for The Outreach Foundation to work with committed partners like John Jock.
