Ethiopia #2: Gambella

The Outreach Foundation is pleased to help financially support the construction of the Newland – West Gambella Bethel Synod Church. This large church is being constructed with the help of youth (under engineer supervision). It will be in the shape of the Arc and will seat thousands.

The Synod is growing and has a current membership of 120,737 members. There are 167 congregations, 83 ordained pastors, and 60 trained evangelists. They also operate a Bible School and other preschools and primary schools. They are excited to complete the construction.

It was inspiring to see the youth of the church volunteering to help in the construction of their new church.
