Ethiopia #4: Gambella

Sunday, June 4 in Gambella, Pastor William Deng Tut (San Diego) and I attended the Newland church at West Gambella Bethel Synod compound. West Gambella Bethel Synod President, Rev. James Gadet Tang, has helped to host the visiting Outreach Foundation teams for the past 5 years. We greatly appreciate their hospitality.
We were met by wonderful choirs and a “full house” of worshippers. This Sunday was our only opportunity to join them in worship and bring a message from The Outreach Foundation. We are impressed with their faith and energy in raising support locally (financial and in-kind) to build their new church. We value our ongoing partnership with them.
