Evangelical Theological Seminary in Cairo Update June 2025

Every season of change brings both opportunities and challenges. As we give thanks for the faithful and fruitful legacy of the Presbyterian Church (USA)’s World Mission Ministry, we continue to receive challenging news from our partners who have been affected by the discontinuation of the Ministry’s work. One such partner is the Evangelical Theological Seminary in Cairo (ETSC). Since 1863, ETSC has been dedicated to preparing and equipping pastors and church leaders to serve in Egypt and beyond.

Children's Bible Ministry in Guanabacoa, Cuba Update June 2025

Javier first came to the Children’s Bible Ministry program, Learning with Jesus, at the Guanabacoa Presbyterian Church in January 2022. From the start, his parents—Yuraimis and Javier—were deeply engaged. They regularly attended Parent School sessions, listened closely to teachers' feedback, and eagerly welcomed support in caring for their son's education and well-being.

Since 2021, The Outreach Foundation has partnered with the National Presbyterian Church of México (INPM) to advance the Gospel and mature disciples for Christ’s kingdom. The Presbyterian church is alive and thriving south of the border, with 8,000 congregations and over six million members.

“Our region desperately needs your prayers and support.” This is the heartfelt plea from our partner, Together for the Family (TFF). In the land where believers were first called Christians (Acts 11:26), Christians and other minority groups are enduring unbearable economic, religious, and social hardships. Syria’s collapsed economy and Islamist rule have forced millions to flee in search of safety. Many have sought refuge in Lebanon, a country grappling with its own deepening crisis.

Persian Diaspora Partnerships Update (Quest and Mehrdad Sajadi) February 2025

The Outreach Foundation’s Persian Diaspora Partnership supports a wide variety of ministries sharing the gospel of Jesus Christ among the Persian-speaking population living throughout Europe and in their home countries. We are pleased to connect U.S. congregations and donors with their work through visits to Türkiye, Germany, the Netherlands, the UK, Belgium, and Greece. In 2025, we will be hosting a November visit to Türkiye and Greece in the footsteps of Paul, and our lead ministry partner will be Mehrdad Sajadi of Quest.

China Partnership Update: Expanding Our Reach

Sharing their wounds

Our long-term friendship with Christians in China is witnessing fresh developments in a context of adversity. This October, The Outreach Foundation fielded two teams totaling 19 people from 11 congregations and four denominations. We witnessed a church sharing the people’s adversity while persevering in hope. We heard of adult baptisms in the hundreds, ministry among young adults, and families committed to raising their children in the Christian faith.

The Presbyterian Church of Bayern: A 2024 Wrap-Up Story

In September, The Outreach Foundation fielded a team of 21 people from six congregations to meet with Pastor Sargez Benjamin and his congregation in the heart of Germany. For most of our team, it was their first experience to be with this congregation, and we emerged with a deeper appreciation for Sargez and the role he serves as an anchoring voice in the Persian Diaspora of Europe.

Persian Diaspora Partners: A 2024 Recap Update

2024 witnessed three visits to our partners in the Persian Diaspora, and a Spring visit from Dariush Golbaghi, founder of Safehouse, to several congregations in the United States. In August we met with the men of Radmard in Türkiye. The visit allowed for a small group of men to engage with Muslim Background Believers for Bible study, coaching, and mutual sharing of testimonies. In September we conducted a visioning visit to a Persian congregation in Brussels. The year concluded in Türkiye where people from six congregations throughout the US facilitated a leadership conference for Gates of Heaven, hearing stories from PARS students, meeting other ministry leaders in the Persian diaspora, and visiting the ancient sites of the “7 churches.

Bethlehem Bible College Update January 2025 – Advent Greetings

The Advent season calls us to reflect on the four foundational virtues of our Christian faith: Hope, Peace, Joy, and Love. These pillars resonate uniquely with each of us, shaped by our spiritual journeys, lived experiences, and cultures. Yet, it is in the most challenging times that these virtues shine brightest, revealing the beautiful work of God’s Spirit within us. Our ministry partner, Bethlehem Bible College (BBC), has shared with us profound reflections on the meaning of Christmas/Advent from their students and staff amidst the ongoing war.
