Lithuania #1 - The Visit with City Church has begun

The Outreach Foundation is introducing a team from Crestwood Church near RIchmond, VA, to our partner in Lithuania - City Church.

We will spend a week with Pastor Saulius Karosas and his team of leaders from the main church in Klaipeda and two of their church plants in Vilnius and Kaunas.

We were drawn to City Church for their incredible response to the war in Ukraine. Now we’re beginning to explore the heart of their ministry: church planting and evangelism.

Our first night was capped with a time of prayer in small groups

Saul explains the significance of a statue in St. John's Church (Vilnius) with a Jesuit holding the Bible standing on a Protestant holding Reformation era papers and bitten by a snake. The Counter-Reformation was fierce in Lithuania and the struggle of the non-Catholic church to flourish here remains.
