Hurricane Relief Efforts
Like you, we remain stunned at the disastrous effects of hurricanes Harvey and Irma. Our hearts cry out for those in Texas, Florida, Georgia and the Caribbean that were so severely impacted. Please join us in praying that relief efforts will restore lives and we will ultimately see the good from these events – like members of Houston area Presbyterian churches helping total strangers muck out their homes and pile unusable belongings on curbsides. God is at work through his people!
If you would like to contribute to the hurricane relief efforts, we commend several organizations that are fully mobilized in both Texas and Florida –Presbyterian Disaster Assistance and World Renew. If you would like to make a donation directly to a Houston area church doing relief, we direct you to First Presbyterian Church of Houston. Read and contribute by clicking on the buttons below.
Additionally, we are hearing from some of our global partners, particularly the Presbyterian Reformed Church of Cuba, about the devastation that has occurred there. The Cuban Church reports that the north central area of Cuba has taken the greatest impact. There are severe shortages of food, water, basic hygiene, medicines, building materials and more. As we learn more about the situation there, we will update this notice. However, if you would like to make a gift to the Cuban Church, you may send it to us at the address at the bottom of this page or click on the button below to make an immediate and secure gift.
“Though the fig tree does not blossom and no fruit is on the vines; though the produce of the olive fails and the fields yield no food… yet I will rejoice in the Lord; I will exult in the God of my salvation.” Habakkuk 3: 17-18

Joining her will be Dr. Tharwat Wahba, Mission Chair at the Evangelical Theological Seminary in Cairo.
Additionally, expect great worship and music, invaluable networking opportunities, unmatched camaraderie and “over the top” breakout sessions.
We are honored and humbled that Charity Navigator, the nation’s foremost charity rating firm, recently announced that The Outreach Foundation once again earned the designation Four Star Charity. Additionally, last fall Charity Navigator named us as the highest rated charity in the Religious Activities category.
We are grateful for this recognition, but we are even more thankful for the individuals and congregations who partner with us to connect God’s people with God’s work in the world.
