The Philemon Project GROW Update September 2025
Exciting News from Lebanon – The Philemon Project GROW!
On May 1, 2025, our partner, the Philemon Project, celebrated the launch of GROW’s second center, expanding its reach in offering exceptional early Christian childhood development and adult mentoring programs.
Meanwhile, the first center, GROW I, continues faithfully in its mission—providing love, stability, and hope to children and families in Beirut. At the heart of GROW’s vision is a belief that every child deserves the chance to flourish. Through active learning through hands-on activities, play-based learning, social-emotional development, imaginative play, and a strong parent mentoring program, the centers nurture not only children but whole families.
These simple yet profound opportunities restore dignity and joy and create a safe space for kids to develop emotionally, socially, and cognitively. They declare that every child, no matter their background, is seen, valued, and loved.
Tamar, a member of the team, reminds us that even the simplest acts—placing a toy in the hands of a child whose parents cannot afford one, or offering a freshly cooked meal to a family—are glimpses into the daily struggles faced by many disadvantaged in Lebanon. Behind each toy and every warm meal shared lies a story of longing, resilience, and God’s love breaking through despair.
In Lebanon, where disadvantaged families often struggle to meet even the most basic needs, GROW stands as a living testimony to Jesus’ commandment to love God and love our neighbors.
GROW depends on your support to fund its efforts. They count on your generosity to carry out this essential ministry. Would you consider contributing to help GROW love and serve in Jesus’ name?
