The Outreach Foundation partners with Shalom Teaching Ministries in undertaking events and seminars directed to pastors and leaders without access to theological education. Last year alone, Shalom held events in eleven Latin American countries. This trip will be an opportunity to visit Shalom Community Church in Fraijanes and see how Christ’s hope is transforming the realities of religious hostility and poverty.
The group will:
• learn from Christian leaders visiting from the different continents about how they live out the connections between worship and mission*
• interact with worship and mission leaders that will also be sharing what they have been learning in their own diverse ministries*
• worship with our Costa Rican partners and see how they are engaging their community
• have the opportunity to think of ways worship and mission can come together in their own congregations
Basic trip cost: $500 includes participation in consultation, in- country transportation, meals and simple lodging (does not include flight).
Ecological Tour: $150 for an additional day.
