Fiangonan’i Jesoa Kristy eto Madagasikara (FJKM)

We are proud to partner with Fiangonan’i Jesoa Kristy eto Madagasikara (FJKM), as it works to improve the lives of the Malagasy people in the areas of health, environment, agriculture, and safe drinking water. Madagascar, located in the Indian Ocean, remains one of the world’s poorest countries. The majority of Malagasy citizens are Christian, a large percentage adhere to traditional beliefs, and fewer than 10% are Muslim. Our mission partners train village health workers, help communities develop safe drinking water sources, and educate church leaders and youth about AIDS prevention. FJKM and its partners have developed an extensive fruit tree program that includes a fruit tree nursery and extension work with farmers, as well as environmental education.

The Impact

More than 150 community health volunteers from rural areas are receiving training in health education techniques and basic health messages. Community food security and nutrition are on the rise thanks to the fruit tree program.

The Outreach Foundation is seeking gifts to support the mission and ministry of FJKM. All gifts of any size are welcomed to help provide training and education to improve the lives of the Malagasy people.
