October 1st was the launch of one of the most popular appeals at The Outreach Foundation. Our Where Needed Most Campaign is loved by our donors because we have built a tremendous amount of trust over many years. Our donors rely on us to place their generous gifts in areas of the world where they are most needed. Likewise, with the tremendous amount of need in the world, trying to place limited funds in the best spot can be a difficult task for individuals and churches. Many donors, therefore, trust our judgment in placing funds where they are needed most and where they can do the most for building up of the Kingdom of God.
Funds from our Where Needed Most campaign sent young Pakistani pastors to training so they may be better equipped to serve their communities.
Here are some recent examples of how Where Needed Most funds were used:
The Outreach Foundation received an urgent request from friends in Africa that a church had lost its roof during the rainy season. $9,000 was needed to replace the roof. We sent funding immediately from the Where Needed Most Appeal, and the church had a new roof in less than one month.
Funds were used from the Where Needed Most Appeal to help defray some costs for young mission leaders to travel to Spain to see the work of the Spirit as the Gospel was proclaimed in the suburbs of Barcelona.
$2,000 was used for three pastors in Pakistan, pictured below, to travel to a conference that would enable them to more effectively spread the Gospel in the context where they lived.
$10,000 was used to purchase Bibles in Kuwait and the United Arab Emirates. Five million Christians live in the region, and with a growing migrant workforce, Bibles are very much in demand.
On and on it goes. There is so much good taking place in the world when it comes to the work of our brothers and sisters in Christ as they seek to know Christ and make Him known. Your gifts to the Where Needed Most Appeal support this work and are making a huge difference in the world.
Blessings!
