Centro Familiar Cristiano Celebrates Milestone In Spain
In a country often described as spiritually dry, we see remarkable ministry happening in Barcelona with our new partner church, Centro Familiar Cristiano (Christian Family Center or CFC). In the midst of a context where 42% of Spaniards identify as non-religious and less than 2% of the population identifies as Protestant, CFC is growing as a vibrant community of disciples and witness to Christ’s love. And now, they’re starting a new chapter in their ministry and life together.
On November 8, 2025 CFC inaugurated its new worship space - a milestone that signifies not just physical expansion, but hope. To CFC, this is more than a new building; it is a sign of God’s faithfulness, blessing, and encouragement to continue the work of sharing the good news of Jesus.
The inauguration service opened with prayers, praises, and songs that spoke of God’s faithfulness. Again and again throughout the service, one phrase rose from the congregation: “Let us give thanks to God, who has brought us this far.” The atmosphere that day was full of joy and deep gratitude.
Guests from sister churches, the Spanish Evangelical Council, and the city council offered words of appreciation for CFC’s ministry and its impact on the surrounding community. This new season represents more than a change of address; it marks a renewed commitment to help many more people encounter Christ. CFC moves forward in faith, trusting God is at work and eager to join Him in what He will continue to do in and through them.
One example of this forward movement is the launch of CFC’s new digital communication initiative. Thanks to your support, CFC was able to welcome Claudia Murillo as Community Manager to oversee social media and communication. Claudia shared her heart for this ministry:
“I am very excited to serve in this way and to use digital media as a tool to share the Gospel and connect with more people. I am convinced that God can use every post and every message to reach hearts that need Him.”
CFC’s story inspires our faith and motivates our mission at The Outreach Foundation.
