Philemon Project GROW Center — November 2023 Update

Beirut, Lebanon

The Philemon Project GROW Center provides Christian early childhood development programs for underserved and at-risk children in Beirut. Rev. Dr. Robert Hamd, the GROW Center’s founder, recently shared this update:

The GROW Center is safe and continuing our important work of providing the best early childhood development, food support, and adult mentoring, all in the name of our Savior, Jesus!

Despite the unrest in the region, our dedicated staff continues to serve the least of these, meeting the needs of at-risk children and their families. Unfortunately, our staff and the families that we serve have experienced war and unrest numerous times in their lives.

The buildout for GROW2 is moving ahead very well. GROW2 will receive 65 more children and their families and also be used by a church plant.

Our contractor and team are working hard to transform the vintage Lebanese house into a beautiful community center, where at-risk kids and their families have the opportunity to hear the Gospel, receive education and support, and attend church.

Grateful for your continued prayers and support.
