Home of Hope in Zimbabwe - Update

Home of Hope, located in Harare, faithfully ministers to people living on the streets due to illness, poverty, or unemployment. Joan Trevelyan and her team, including her son Craig, provide feeding and training for street mothers, help provide scholarships and uniforms to school children, and offer medical aid for many in need. They also serve food to about 100 people a day, three times a week, and facilitate training in sewing so ladies can sew uniforms for their children. At Christmas, they provided parcels with clothes and food for 100 people.

Dave Rock sent pictures from the Christmas distribution along with this note:

We started our Christmas distribution at 6:00 a.m. and gave out parcels of t-shirts, soap, maputi (similar to popcorn), freezits (drinks), and beef pies. We served about a hundred people of all ages. Lucy, Ongai, two schoolboys and I gave the parcels out. We will still feed or give medicines to those who need them during the holidays.
