Lithuania #5 - Worship and Fellowship with City Church
We shared Sunday worship and fellowship with City Church Klaipeda. This portion of our visit was the final day in an incredible week of prayer, discussions, and learning of the Lithuanian and Russian contexts in which City Church has struggled to flourish.
City Church is focused on disciple-making and church planting and is the largest single evangelical church in Lithuania. Leaders have launched two church plants with a third developing in each of Lithuania’s major cities. City Church has excellent connections with the Catholic leadership as evidenced by the meaningful visit with Archbishop Grusas.
This week’s visit brought together leadership from Crestwood Church in the Richmond area (Virginia) and City Church in discussions for long-term partnership. The Outreach Foundation was pleased to facilitate the visit!
