Haigazian University is part of the multicultural mosaic that is Beirut, serving students of diverse backgrounds, preparing them to face 21st-century challenges, as they serve in their communities. It intentionally draws in students from lower economic communities and seeks to prepare them for careers that emphasize service and leadership such as teaching, social work, and management.

The university provides quality education on the undergraduate and graduate levels with a curriculum that incorporates critical thinking as well as knowledge and skills in the use of information technology, while also encouraging research and life-long learning.

Today, the student body numbers 765, consisting of students who are pursuing an undergraduate or graduate degree from among 30 majors.

Join us in prayer for these needs:   

• Scholarships — these are need and merit-based, as well as for those who are migrants or refugees, some 65% of the student body being recipients.        

• Financial hardship — like many other institutions in the country, the university has been greatly affected by the economic collapse of the country since 2019, leading to major annual financial deficits.     

• Christian encouragement — to maintain hope and keep morale high in these difficult times in Lebanon and to serve as a witness to the Gospel.
