Pakistan Monsoon Relief — Important Update

The Outreach Foundation is closely following PAK Mission Society's relief efforts in Pakistan. We recently received the following situation report:

  • 1,695 people have died from the floods and 12,865 were injured

  • 7,900,000 people are displaced

  • 1,162,122 cattle have been destroyed

  • 2,045,349 homes have been destroyed or damaged

  • 23,900 schools have been damaged

We are pleased to report that PAK Mission Society has signed a Memo of Understanding with Rev. Reuben Qamar and Rev. Obaid Khokhar, Moderators of the Presbyterian Church of Pakistan. This MOU brings Christians together to provide a holistic, Christian-based response to rural communities in Pakistan and places where there are many refugees from Afghanistan.

PAK Mission Society is present in 80 villages and to date has provided 1,6791 food packages and over 3,700 hot meals.
