Dear ministry partners,

On behalf of the entire TAP community, it’s my privilege to thank you for your partnership in ministry during 2018. I praise God for all the ways you have partnered with TAP and the missionaries (we call them “Partners”) serving through TAP around the world. I praise God for your prayer and financial support, as well as for all the other ways you care for and encourage the TAP community. The almost seventy TAP Partners being used by God around the world are able to do what God has called them to do because people, and churches, like you are committed to serving as senders. So again, thank you!

2018 Impact
As always, it’s been a privilege to see God at work in and through the TAP community over this past year. As a result of God’s work through TAP Partners, people have met Jesus and their lives have been transformed, churches have been strengthened, Christian leaders in the global church have been equipped and empowered, church planters have been trained, capacity has been built in areas from children’s ministry to Business as Mission, those with special needs have been blessed in the name of Jesus, and that’s just a partial list.

Partner Focus
In 2 Corinthians 5:7, Paul says “We live by faith, not by sight.” Every follower of Jesus is called to this way of life, and our experience is that for those called to live and work cross-culturally, this call often becomes very concrete. For example, a young TAP family lives and works in a very authoritarian, oppressive country (family not pictured). There are few Christians and few churches in the area where they live, and the government has recently instituted an even more aggressive campaign to intimidate and pressure those they consider a threat (that includes most anyone who is religious). As a result, this family has had to move multiple times to be able to continue their important work of reaching an unreached people group with the Good News of Jesus. In a very concrete way they are living out this call to “live by faith, not by sight.” I could share many more stories, but what’s clear to me is that these cross-cultural servants need the love, care and support of the broader body of Christ. Thank you for being that and doing that!
