Egypt (TRIP IS NOW FULL)

In the midst of upheaval and uncertainty the Presbyterian Church of Egypt - some 350,000 strong - is planting churches throughout the country. We will visit some of those initiatives in and around Cairo. We will also spend time at the Evangelical Theological Seminary of Cairo (ETSC) which marks 150 years of training leaders for that Church and for Protestant congregations throughout the Middle East. Because our stay in Cairo will be on the campus of ETSC, there will be ample opportunities to get to know some of the students and to hear the inspiring stories of their calls, as well as their aspirations for ministry once they graduate.

We will not neglect the outstanding history of Egypt with visits to the Pyramids of Giza and the Cairo Museum (where Tut’s treasure is displayed in all its splendor) and exploring the ancient Christian past of the city.
