Kenya

Join The Outreach Foundation to see how God is at work in the world. This trip will help travelers build a strong relationship with partners serving the Lord faithfully in Kenya. The traveling team will include Rev. Dr. Eve Tolley, former Outreach trustee and a long-term friend of ministries in Kenya caring for vulnerable children.

We will fly into Nairobi and introduce you to the Girls’ Rescue Centers led by Stu and Annie Ross, and spend a day meeting and hearing their stories of hope for the future before heading to Nyeri. We will spend time interacting with children at both Huruma and Tumaini, have a VBS and a counseling session with the children, meet the board, and learn about the new government policies for effectively caring for the children while addressing the root causes of their misery.

The basic trip cost is $1,600 per person. This includes: in-country accommodations, meals, transportation and a two-day (optional) Safari at Sweetwaters National Park. It does not include international airfare, visas, travel insurance (required), offerings/gifts. A $150 non-refundable deposit and application to hold a place on the trip must be received by May 1, 2019. The Kenya visa is easy to obtain for American citizens, but you will need to apply online at eCitizen.go.ke. You will then print out the approval and carry it with your passport.
