About Our Partner
A missionary with a strong vision for proclaiming the Gospel in word and deed, the late Nedson Zulu loved the Lord and was committed to equipping others for the work of sharing the Gospel. Beginning in 1998, Nedson served as Project Manager for the Holistic Evangelism Project in Mozambique. During that time, Nedson met regularly with the tent-making pastors and the elders to look at the progress in their churches, encouraging them to share the challenges that they encountered, guiding them as they helped each other to find solutions and strengthen their ministry. Training was an essential part of his work. After many years of faithful service, Nedson entered the church triumphant in November of 2018.
Nedson’s long-time colleague, Public Health Nurse Sebber Banda, led the health ministries in Tete for many years. Her work transformed the health of thousands of people. It is a pleasure to announce that Sebber has agreed to assume the role of Project Director for the Holistic Evangelism Project. Sebber and the Project Assistant, Rev. Carlos Faquione, are making plans for a busy and productive 2019. Please pray for these dedicated servant leaders as well as for Nedson’s wife, Sarah, and children Emmelia, Madalitso, Mary, Esther, Gift, and Nedson Jr., grandchildren Yami, Sibo, Grace, and Mercy and his large extended family in Zambia.
Sebber will now direct the Holistic Evangelism Project in Tete Province, Mozambique. Her work includes training and equipping the four pastors and elder leaders of the 70+ churches, promoting evangelism, church planting and community development.
The Outreach Foundation is seeking gifts totaling $85,000 for support and ministry funds.
