Outreach Through Technology

Iranian Ministries Coordinator, Sasan Tavassoli, shares how God is working through satellite and internet broadcast television programs to reach the growing number of Iranian Christians, whose government persecutes them for their faith, as well as those living in diaspora throughout Europe.

In 2007, The Outreach Foundation called the Rev. Dr. Sasan Tavassoli to serve as a missionary among Iranians in Iran and among the Diaspora. Dr. Sasan Tavassoli is a former Shi’ite Muslim from Iran. In 1985, Sasan came to faith in Christ as the result of the ministry of a group of American missionaries while living in Portugal. He has devoted his life to building up the body of Christ among Iranians through a ministry of teaching that is carried out in three overlapping circles of work. The first is ministry with Iranian Christians, both inside and outside of Iran. The second is a satellite teaching ministry focused on Iranian believers. The third is ministry with non-Iranian Christians who wish to engage in effective witness among Muslims. He is an ordained minister of Covenant Order of Evangelical Presbyterians (ECO).
