Greetings from Mozambique

"Moni" (hello) from Malawi! We are sorry we haven't posted until now, but it's been a busy time since we left on Monday. The trip is going well, despite several "road blocks" Satan has tried to throw at us.

Our youngest team member, Rebekah (17), was not allowed to board in Atlanta. New rules put in place in June in South Africa for preventing human trafficking require an original birth certificate. With a few tears from all of us, Rebekah returned to Florida, more determined than ever to come next year!

We flew to Malawi this morning. Then after a tasty lunch prepared by Sarah, wife of Nedson Zulu, the Tete Project Coordinator, we piled into a van to head for the Mozambique border. However, thirty minutes later our van broke down! But Yankee ingenuity and prayers got everyone to the hotel in Mwanza in shifts!

Tomorrow we cross the border into Mozambique and truly begin our time learning about the Holistic Evangelism Project in Tete Province.

Keep praying – your prayers have gotten us this far!

Blessings from the team
