Development of a Sunday School Curriculum

The percentage of the membership of the church in China that belongs to the younger generation is increasing every year. Over the past ten years, more and more churches have started Sunday Schools. However, they have neither local materials nor curriculum.

A couple of years ago, a large church in China accepted the challenge to have its members trained to develop a curriculum that would be appropriate for mainland China. This project is a six-year one and will consist of age-appropriate study guides and teaching aids for teachers, workbooks for students, and supplementary materials for special holidays. Three initial curricula have been produced, and more are on the way.
